Free Peer to Peer Support - Ashburton Library

Meet and share your experiences with other parents in a relaxed, safe and friendly atmosphere in your local library and find out about free local training opportunities and support.

This is a local support group for all parents in Croydon run by My Outspace who are part of the Croydon Best Start community project. All parents are welcome.

My Outspace are dedicated to helping parents with young children. They do this in many ways;

  • supporting parents in gaining new skills
  • helping with CV advice
  • changing careers
  • going self-employed or starting up a new business
  • volunteering options
  • networking with other parents
  • gaining confidence
  • digital skills
  • budgeting workshops
  • pathways to employment
  • mentoring

Most of the services are provided for free and delivered under the Croydon Best Start project. My Outspace also work with a number of community support workers and partners throughout Croydon and proactively sign post to other services in the area.

My Outspace peer to peer group sessions run in the following libraries;

  • Thornton Heath
  • Norbury
  • Broad Green
  • Ashburton
  • Selsdon

There is also a peer to peer group running at Woodside Childrens Centre.
