When you go on the ‘BuddyWith’ website, you will be asked to register as an individual or a company. Please fill in details as an individual and do not tick ‘company'
Your ‘Buddy’ will be another parent who experienced or is experiencing similar issues to you and is local to your area.
Only users identified with similar tags to you will be able to see your profile and vise versa. And, while you won’t be able to see their exact location, you will see how far you are from where they are based.
An individual you are trying to connect with will have the choice to accept or deny your request. The same goes if someone reaches out to you. You can send an internal email to clarify any details before accepting the request. If your request is accepted, you will have information to contact each other and meet if you wish.
A champion is a parent in your local area who organises and runs peer-to-peer support groups and can signpost parents to any other relevant support organisations in the local area.

Relevant organisations can register their details on the platform and be included in the directory by ticking ‘a company’ during the registration process. All organisations will be contacted by our administrator before getting approved to be listed on the platform.
